We have to deny self of whatever it desires that is contrary to the will of God.

Self-denial may extend to the consecration of our lives, yielding our all to the service of God. Self-denial does not end with devotion of our lives for full service, it is constantly required in our daily Read more ...

Special Message for the Month
JACOB RECONCILES WITH ESAU Genesis 33:1-11

With faith and confidence, Jacob went boldly to meet Esau. He bowed to Esau. A humble submissive behaviour goes far towards turning away wrath. Esau embraced Jacob. God has the hearts of all men in His hands and can turn them and how He pleases. When a mans ways please the Lord, He maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him Provers 16:7. Esau received Jacob as brother and there was much tenderness between them. Let love be without dissimulation Romans 12:9. A Christian should be generous, merciful, free hearted and open handed, ready to apologise or forgive, as the case may demand.

Follow peace with all men, and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord Hebrews 12:14
